Our Little Corner of the World...SoCal!!!

I'm going to be making some blog changes down the line...

Terrace of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library

Probably eliminating MammothLakesDP.blogspot.com...

and updating Photographic Journey...

or not...

we'll see...

In the meantime...

here's a new pic...

no...it's not my Nikon d700 or my Fuji XT1 (which ran out of battery power at this shoot)...

it's my iPhone!!!

Gotta love the iPhone backup!!!

Have you ever been to a Presidential Library?  We've got a couple within decent
driving distance.  The Ronald Reagan library is in the Simi Valley...
a fascinating look into the world of a president...
There's an exact replica of the Oval room (decorated as Reagan had it...complete with jelly beans!)
there's an Air Force One that you can walk through...(no pictures past the gate though)
there's a Presidential helicopter that you can also walk through...
there's a large piece of the Berlin wall...
and of course, the usual history of the president in pictures and captions...
an interesting morning, and fun photo shoot with the Tri-Community Location Shoot class!!!

  13. I have been - and I hated it. And NOT because I disliked President Reagan. It was the design of the museum and that faux spanish thing going on. It felt like being in an IKEA. On the plus side - once you left the museum maze it opened up into that area you photographed.. which was breathtaking.
