Have you ever been to a Presidential Library? We've got a couple within decent
driving distance. The Ronald Reagan library is in the Simi Valley...
a fascinating look into the world of a president...
There's an exact replica of the Oval room (decorated as Reagan had it...complete with jelly beans!)
there's an Air Force One that you can walk through...(no pictures past the gate though)
there's a Presidential helicopter that you can also walk through...
there's a large piece of the Berlin wall...
and of course, the usual history of the president in pictures and captions...
an interesting morning, and fun photo shoot with the Tri-Community Location Shoot class!!!

ReplyDeleteI have been - and I hated it. And NOT because I disliked President Reagan. It was the design of the museum and that faux spanish thing going on. It felt like being in an IKEA. On the plus side - once you left the museum maze it opened up into that area you photographed.. which was breathtaking.
ReplyDeleteI get your issues...but I must admit I thoroughly enjoyed the museum...and the setting is absolutely beautiful!
