Wine Country in Texas???

Driftwood wine tasting...
spoke my language!

Driftwood Texas...who knew it's the wine country of Texas?!!!

On our way to the Salt Lick...the "best Barbecue in Texas"...
we stopped off at the Driftwood winery...
...and found the sign that speaks my language!!!
Add to that...a couple of nice bottles of wine to take with us
to the Salt Lick!

The Driftwood winery has a lovely outdoor area where you
can take a glass of wine...or a bottle or two out
to sip while enjoying the view!

Then on to the Salt Lick!!!

Barbecue is serious business in Texas!!!
(BTW...there were 9 of us...and many more of these platters!!!)

    1. HaHa! I still wouldn't quite call Texas serious wine country...they've still got a ways to go to catch on wine quality, but we've all got a lot of catch up to do to get BarBQ as good as Texas!!!
