Our Little Corner of the World...Wrapping up Arizona!

Southern California gardens have been going more native...

...fortunately I haven't seen much of this cactus!

You really don't want to get too near it...

...it drops little babies on the ground around it...

and those little babies like to grab onto whatever is near!!! 

Ouch!!!

Cactus is not exactly a friendly plant...

but it sure is interesting to shoot!!!

 This one is definitely the friendliest of the bunch...

Sooo...in my first post about our little trip to Arizona

 I mentioned our friends had bought a house and just moved in...

...yep...

I'm jealous too!

Beautiful home...but this view and the backyard is what I think they really bought it for!!!

A Pleasant Day at Lake Pleasant, Arizona...

So when the others went golfing...
I headed to Lake Pleasant!

 One of the things that makes Arizona terrain so interesting is the
Saguaro Cactus.

It was a rainy weekend in general...

and I managed to go out to the marina in between intermittent bouts of drizzle!!!

 Lot's of people heading out to their boats to fish...

It definitely was a bit of a dark day...

but then clouds always make for more interesting photos...

and of course...me being me...

I had to play around a bit...

Which do you like better?  

Natural color or B&W?

Just because I barely passed Geometry...

doesn't mean I don't appreciate right angles and parallel lines!!!
