Photographing the Oregon Coast...



In early December I had the opportunity to go to 
the Oregon Coast for a photography workshop with TJ Thorne.
I'm not much for getting up in time to shoot photos at dawn...
so thank goodness Oregon's sunrise was at about 7:30am!!!
That was doable!!!

The Oregon Coast is beautiful...and a joy to photograph!

    Beautiful photos. A photo class in that area would be a real treat. I like the shot with the other photogs and their reflections on the sand. I'm not a morning person either!!

    Oregon is on my bucket list. The coastline there looks so glorious and magical. Your photographs are lovely!

    I've traveled the coastline. The lighting in each of these shots is translucent, painting the Oregon Coast appropriately mystical.

    I always wanted to visit that part of the US, but never got out that way. Funny that, after moving to New Zealand and seeing other bloggers' photos, your coast looks a lot like mine!!

      I'm generally in Southern California, which isn't quite as rugged! The Northern California Coastline and Oregon coast are very similar with beautiful rock formations all along...We are talking about a NZ trip soon!!! I've found that no matter where I am in the world, I've found similarities to my home state as well!

      Thanks TJ! With Christmas, then travel in both January and February, the Oregon Coast photos waited for my attention! It was a good and informative time! Thanks again!

    When you get back home with pictures like those, it was surely worth the early start. I like the final one best. It just has the edge on the others.

    I love the header shot! If I'm near the ocean, I try to force myself to get out of bed to catch a sunrise. It is truly beautiful and peaceful and so are your shots! I'm doing well, thanks for asking!!
